John & Tracy a windy wild wedding in Kenmare

I’ve been looking forward to posting this wedding for a while…its a big one too. We had so much fun at this wedding I actually nearly forgot myself and started dancing at one point but I didn’t … Tracy and John got married in Kenmare on a crazy, windy day… the weather was wild and earlier on it looked like we wouldn’t have a chance to get outdoors for some photos. But nothing was gonna stop this pair from getting into the wind and having some fun. You can have a little giggle at Johns twin brother appearing in the photos at the pub and then being replaced by the groom… funny moment….almost got away with it too. See Leon from Leon Costello Wedding Films get a good soaking of champers in the wind…. what a waste! Check out Johns appearance on RTE show Naked camera which was played by the best man during the speeches…. very funny!!

Tracy really is a very talented girl by the end of the night not only was she singing with the band HARLEQUIN (great band BTW) but she was jammin on the fiddle with the band. I’ll post a little video shortly that I captured during the set.

Sara & Roger’s wedding at Brooklodge

Sara & Roger got married on a crisp November afternoon, this is what the winter should look like in Ireland.. at least I wish it would. The low sun, the drawn shadows and the great light makes for a beautiful day. Sara and Roger got married in Brooklodge a really beautiful wedding venue and they were great, real cool, real calm and relaxed. This is the best way to be on your wedding day. The day will fly by and you can either soak it up and take it all in like they did or let it pass you by while you worry about the little things that really don’t matter.

All the work you’ve done for your wedding is done by then, so enjoy it and laugh at anything that might go slightly sideways because life isn’t meant to be perfectly planned out, it’s meant to be fun. What a cute couple and what a lovely day, Sara & Roger thanks for letting us be part of your big day… it was fun!

Katriona & David’s Wedding at Enfield and Finnstown House Hotel

Katriona and David smiled… they are happy people and they’re fun. We had real great fun shooting their wedding from the guests to the bridal party everyone was great fun and really so nice and friendly.

I love Finnstown not just because its so close to home for us … but its a lovely venue to shoot at and has plenty of photographic locations to ponder. Sounds like I love a lot of things today but maybe its the new year and a fresh start! So I’ll start with a happy image and give you a good look at Katriona and Davids wedding day… It was brill working with you both and congrats to you!

So its the last day of the year and my last wedding of the year Just wanted to say Happy New year to all the great couples we’ve worked with this year and all the great couples we’ll work with in 2012… Looking forward to it!!
